Installation Guide

Follow these guidelines to install Trubore borewell piping systems effectively.

Screen & Casing Pipe

Drill the Bore

Drill a vertical bore of the required size and depth using auger, water jet, hydraulic rotary, or core drilling. Ensure the bore is straight to save on labour and installation cost.

Use Casing & Screening Pipes

Casing/screen pipes are necessary for tube well construction and highly recommended in areas with loose soil, silt, or boulders for added stability.

Install Gaskets

Fix a “C” clamp below the bell end and lower the pipe using a chain pulley block. Attach a sand trap with an end plug if required.

Lower Pipe Assembly

Fix a “C” clamp below the bell end and lower the pipe using a chain pulley block. Attach a sand trap with an end plug if required.

Joint Pipes Securely

After lowering, fit a rubber gasket on the next pipe and tighten gently using a pipe or chain wrench. Avoid overtightening.

Complete Installation

Repeat the process till the required depth is achieved. Use centering guides as needed and fill gravel between the pipe and borehole.

Rising Main Pipe

Pre-check the Pump

Ensure the submersible pump is functioning properly before installation. This helps avoid delays or rework after the assembly is lowered into the borewell.

Install Metal Adapter

Securely connect the Trubore metal adaptor to the pump using a chain wrench. A firm and leak-proof joint is critical for long-term performance and durability.

Prepare for Assembly

Clean pipe threads with water to ensure smooth jointing and avoid thread damage. Also, confirm the pump guard is correctly placed between the pipe coupler and metal adaptor.

Join Delivery Pipe

Connect the submersible delivery pipe to the pump using a strap wrench or rope for final tightening. Proper tightening prevents slippage during operation and ensures a stable connection.

Add Safety Rope

Attach a nylon rope to the cast iron adaptor, run it along the bore length, and tie it at the top clamp. This acts as a safety backup to prevent the pump from falling in case of mishaps.

Lower the Assembly

Fix a “C” clamp at the marked point below the coupler and slowly lower the pipe using a chain pulley. Once at clamp level, install the rubber ring on the next pipe and gently tighten using rope before continuing.
