Foamcore Piping System

Foamcore pipes are triple-layer pipes wherein the outer and inner layers are made of PVC material, whereas the middle layer is made of specially formulated foamed PVC. The outer and inner layers provide load-bearing capacity while the middle foam layer gives firmness to the overall pipe structure. Foamcore pipes are ideal for underground drainage installation and have an inbuilt beam structure when they come under the stress of heavy load, Foamcore pipes due to the foam layer gain the structural load shape and regain their normal shape once the load is off it. These pipes conform to IS 16098 and are provided in 3 wall thickness types SN2, SN4 & SN8. Thicker pipes are utilised where soil exerts a lot of pressure on the pipe surfaces.
